Back in September, my grandmother passed away at the age of 91 3/4.  For a few months, it was difficult to think about crafting anything without her to share it with.  But through the holidays, the need to make gifts brought me back into the groove.  Here's my latest project.

It's a DROPS pattern from garnstudio.com.  I used heavier yarn than I should have, so they turned out a bit large for potholders.  But they do work well as trivets.  :-)
